This policy explains how Moly (the "Service") collects, uses, stores, and deletes users' personal information. The Service is operated by independent developer Sun Lee. Privacy-related inquiries are received at sunlee334@gmail.com.

The Service stores and processes data through the processors below. Each processor's own privacy policy also applies.

Some of the processors above (Pl@ntNet, Plant.id, Open-Meteo, Supabase, AI providers, etc.) may operate servers outside your country, and relevant information may be transferred abroad to provide the Service. If you do not wish to have information transferred abroad, you may stop using the relevant features; in that case, some features may be limited.
Personal information is retained until the purpose of use is achieved or you delete your account, and is destroyed without delay once the purpose is achieved or the account is deleted. You may request deletion of your account and related data using the account deletion feature within the app. Camera frames used for light-level measurement are not stored and are discarded immediately after measurement. Information that must be retained under applicable law is kept for the period required by that law and then destroyed.
The list below is everything other users can see, and each item is visible only if you turned it on yourself.
The app does not display other users' locations on a map. Its map is used solely for you to choose the location of your own plant.
You can turn off “Show my plant” or stop sharing a location at any time, and you can report or block another user. Blocking hides that person's plants from your recommendations and stops messages in both directions.
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information, and may exercise these rights through in-app features or via sunlee334@gmail.com.
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 14 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children of that age. If a user is confirmed to be under 14, such information is destroyed without delay.

This policy may be revised in response to changes in law or the Service, and any revisions will be announced through the app or this page.
